Greetings friends,
With the Christmas season approaching, we remember the love that God has shown to humanity by providing His son as a deliverer. Without His grace, we would be wondering like lost sheep in the dark. We pray that this Christmas you would experience God’s love and grace in a new and deeper way.
Plans for our next trip are currently changing. Due to scheduling conflicts, the surgical trip scheduled for February 2008 is being postponed until April 2008 (if all the details can be worked out). We are also planning a medical team trip in March 2008 as well. This trip will be a follow-up to the work started the end of September 2007. We will continue our work with asthma treatment and education. We will also begin a similar program with diabetic patients. We have received about a dozen glucometers (an instrument used to monitor an individual’s blood sugar). A local pharmacy is also assisting us with half the cost of providing the strips used in these machines. To Cheryl, this is an answer to prayer, since this is a constant expense.
We are continuing to pray for a van to be used in Belize to transport teams in the country. We are also asking for your prayers as we work with the hospital in Dangriga. Some of the changes we are implementing will bring changes for them as well. Pray that the staff of the hospital and government would continue to welcome and implement these changes. Continue to pray for our future ministry team details to come together that we are planning for the spring of 2008.
