It’s not every day you get the opportunity to make a difference. But that’s how we feel about this ministry. Every day we get new questions from people interested in knowing about our teams and how often we can go to Belize. Well the answer is, as long as we have individuals willing to go, we will go.
At present, we are working on a team for October. This team is a medical team but I’m hoping to get at least two persons to do some maintenance work at the hospital while we are there. Also, I would like to take someone along that likes to do landscaping, because the hospital could use that as well.
We are working to get all the applications each individual would need to participate on a medical team onto the web site making it easier to download it and send to us.
I’m really praying that a team will come together for us to minister to the church where we were pastoring. This past week the pastor lost his mother when she died unexpectedly. I’m sure this is devastating to him and his family even though she was a Christian. For next summer, I would love to take a VBS team down to the church. If you sense God leading you in any of these areas, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Earlier this month, we received a donation from a doctor of some medical equipment. We are now trying to see how we could get this shipped to Belize.
It was a blessing and we are so appreciative to everyone who has given to this ministry.
