Hubert Stephen was born and raised in Belize where he developed a passion for life and living every day passionately. Cheryl was born and raised in Pennsylvania. They met while serving in Belize and Mexico with Youth Evangelism Service. They’ve been married for 18 years and have spent nearly half of their married lives living in Belize. While living in Belize, Hubert pastored one of the local churches and served as president of the national church council of the Evangelical Mennonite Churches. Cheryl worked for several years in the local hospital and spent much of her spare time volunteering her nursing services in the community.
They currently live in Pennsylvania and have a 15-year-old son, Caron. Cheryl is currently in school working on her Master's degree in nursing at Millersville University and Hubert has an associate degree in pastoral ministries from Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary. Cheryl works at Landis Homes, a retirement facility, and Hubert works in a local hardware store. We enjoy family time, worshiping while Hubert plays the guitar, going to the beach & camping, reading a good book and watching Caron play basketball.
Lawrence R. Yoder was born in Lansdale Pennsylvania and grew up in Harrisonburg Virginia. He is a CPA and owner of Horizon Accountants in Broadway Virginia where they specialize in tax advice, counsel and preparation for individuals and businesses. They also offer general counseling, strategic planning and accounting services.
In 2000, Lawrence founded Nehemiah’s Call, a ministry that supports church planting, evangelism, global mission and Bible teaching. In 2007, Lawrence was ordained by the Virginia Mennonite Conference as a preacher, teacher and marketplace minister.
Lawrence is passionate about seeing lives transformed through biblical teaching with Anabaptist distinctives. He longs to see a church planting and evangelistic movement within the broader Mennonite streams and beyond. As a bi-vocational minister Lawrence is available outside of tax season for preaching and teaching invitations and projects.
Lawrence and his wife Bonnie and their two daughters live in Broadway Virginia. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his children, traveling and cheering for Philadelphia sports teams.
Dr. Zartman is a Colorado native with family in the Brickerville area of Lancaster County. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Colorado, Denver. After completing an internship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Zartman went on to complete his orthopedic residency at The Harvard Orthopedic Training Program. He also spent two years serving the Public Health Service on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Zartman also holds the distinction of being a Diplomate of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Zartman participates in the training of medical residents at Lancaster General Hospital and specializes in minimally invasive surgery of the hip and knee including hip arthroscopy as well as shoulder surgery.
Jennifer Erkinger is the treasurer for Healthy Church Healthy Belize. She has had the joy and pleasure of experiencing multiple trips to the beautiful country of Belize and they've been experiences she will never forget.
Jennifer has worked in the medical field for 15 years. She is a registered respiratory therapist with specialties in pediatric and neonatal care. She currently working at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and spends most of her time in the Children's Hospital. The neonatal intensive care unit is Jennifer's favorite place to work. She is a part of the Life Lion helicopter/ground transport teams that pick up very sick babies from outlying hospitals.
Jennifer has a wonderful family who has been very patient with her and her career activities. She has been married to Rick for 15 years. They have 2 children ...Riley who is 12 and Carleigh who is 7. They attend the Reamstown Church of God and have quite a few responsibilities there. When not at church, you can find Jennifer working or simply hanging out with her family. They like to rent movies, visit friends, take walks, vacation at the beach and just being together. 
Leonard Dueck was born in Mexico to a Mennonite family who emigrated from Manitoba, Canada. His family lived in Mexico until he was 12 then they moved to Belize along with other Mennonite families. Leonard’s first job was to work in the office of a feed mill. The opportunity came for him to become an owner and president of Quality Poultry Products, a chicken processing plant that produced 50,000 dressed chickens per week. In 1989, Leonard and his wife, Linda, moved to Pennsylvania. They have three children and five grandchildren. Leonard and his wife are members of Millport Mennonite Church where they currently serve as youth advisors. Leonard has worked at Paul B. Zimmerman, Inc., a hardware store, since the summer of 1989. As controller, he is in charge of accounts payable, payroll and general ledger for the company.
